June Mountain Wedding | Kelly & Brendan

I’ve been invited to a wedding after party a couple of times, but after this wedding, I actually went. I had to go. Kelly, Brendan and their families were impossible to say ‘no’ to. From the moment my assistant and I showed up we just really felt connected to them. We all shared jokes and stories throughout the day and I could tell that both Brendan and Kelly trusted us to do what we do. And so of course, when they invited us to hang out afterwards of course we were going to go. Hopefully that won’t be the last time we hang out either!

Kelly and Brendan chose June Lake, CA as their location to get married. June mountain specifically. June is where they met and it only made sense to do the wedding there. We got rained on, I broke a camera and we couldn’t take the chairlift up to the venue because we would’ve potentially gotten zapped by lightning. In the end though, it was beautiful. It went how it was meant to go. Plus, we all got to ride the chairlift down at night since the rain and lighting stopped. And let me just tell you, holding a bunch of gear and light stands while riding an old chairlift down the mountain in the middle of the night was terrifying for the first few minutes. I couldn’t stop laughing at how afraid I actually was. Especially since it’s not my first time riding down that lift at night.

Anyway, Kelly and Brendan, you are two incredibly beautiful people from beautiful families. I really like you guys, and I hope our friendship continues. And I’m jealous you went to Iceland when I went back to my house. Haha. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. Here’s some frames.
