Lake Sabrina Engagement | Brad & Heather

Before an engagement photoshoot, it’s not uncommon to be nervous. For many couples, this is their first time getting directed by a professional photographer. This was the exact story for Brad and Heather when I met with them at Lake Sabrina outside Bishop, Ca. I told them “there is no need to worry, you both will do great.”

It really didn’t take long for them to open up. See, the thing about engagement sessions is that you get to go through it with your best friend. Looking at them smile makes you smile. When they laugh it makes you laugh and so on.

I don’t think I could have gotten these to to play serious if I tried.

When we were about done, I asked if they could swim out to an island for a photo. They just laughed. They must have thought I was joking. Oh well. *Laughs*
