Bodie Ghost Town Bridal Session | Jen & Chad

Chad approached me during the wedding day and said, “Hey, would you be up for going to Bodie tomorrow for some additional wedding photos?”

I have had couples in the past ask to do more photos the next day, but usually they are “partied out” and don’t feel like doing anything the next day. I’m sure all of you reading this know the feeling I am talking about. However, Jen said that Chad loves Bodie. Sure enough, the next morning at 8:45 a.m. I received a phone call from Chad confirming the plan and off we went!

It was such a pleasure spending another day with this awesome couple. Bodie Ghost Town is not somewhere I had ever thought of doing a bride and groom session but I am so glad we did it! The weather could not have been more perfect to compliment the scenery. Chad decided he didn’t want to tuck in his shirt and insisted on wearing flip flops. I laughed and said that they both looked great, and then proceeded “Chad, I can tell the party was yesterday.” We all laughed. We all walked around and explored, stopping in different locations to shoot, and we only got yelled at once! Sorry to the very nice ranger for breaking the rules! (I had them sit on one of the old truck beds. That’s a no-no)
